On Monday evening, a Saudi Arabian tourist found himself in a precarious situation after a parasailing excursion went awry. At around 6:00 p.m., 26-year-old Mr. Wahab was blown off course by strong winds and became stranded in a casuarina tree near Kamala Beach in Phuket Province.
Officials from Kamala Police Station swiftly responded to the incident, calling for a bucket truck and a rescue team to assist in the rescue effort. Mr. Wahab was found five meters above the ground, unable to free himself from the branches of the tree.
