Thailand has been ranked as the 4th most beautiful country in the world, according to a recent report by the World of Statistics. This ranking, shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), is based on global reports and data from the United States.
Thailand follows New Zealand, Greece, and Italy in the top spots of the world’s most beautiful countries. The top 10 list also includes Switzerland, Brazil, Australia, Norway, Egypt, and Spain.
The World of Statistics released the ranking on June 25, highlighting Thailand’s allure through its natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and vibrant cities. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the serene beaches of Phuket and the historical marvels of Ayutthaya, Thailand’s diverse attractions contribute to its high ranking.
A spokesperson from the World of Statistics noted that Thailand’s unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness makes it a top destination for travelers. “The country’s appeal is evident in its rising number of international visitors, who flock to experience its tropical beaches, lush jungles, and ancient temples,” the spokesperson said.
New Zealand, securing the top spot, is celebrated for its breathtaking scenery, from rolling hills and volcanic plateaus to serene lakes and rugged coastlines. Greece, in second place, is renowned for its historical sites and picturesque islands. Italy, ranked third, is famous for its art, architecture, and culinary delights.
“Our ranking aims to showcase the diverse beauty found across the globe, highlighting countries that offer unique and captivating experiences,” the spokesperson added.
Switzerland, ranked 5th, is known for its stunning Alpine scenery and pristine lakes. Brazil, in 6th place, boasts the Amazon rainforest and iconic beaches like Copacabana. Australia, in 7th, offers diverse landscapes from the Great Barrier Reef to the Outback. Norway, in 8th, captivates with its fjords and northern lights. Egypt, in 9th place, is home to ancient wonders like the Pyramids of Giza. Spain, rounding out the top 10, is celebrated for its vibrant cities, Mediterranean coastlines, and rich history.
