People shop at malls and gas stations under Shop Dee Mee Khuen program

The most recent edition of the Shop Dee Mee Khuen program began on January 1. The initiative is intended to boost spending and assist retailers and sellers in increasing volume. Buyers who wish to utilize the scheme are now receiving more precise tax bills from shopping centers and gas stations.

Many people were shopping at Bangkok’s The Mall Ngamwongwan department store and taking advantage of the Shop Dee Mee Khuen promotion. This was especially true for daily basics such as clothing, electronics, and New Year’s presents. Employees at department stores reported that many customers visited during the New Year’s holiday and purchased a considerable number of things. This caused some delays in the issuance of tax invoices, which the mall remedied by adding invoice issuing stations.

The majority of tourists interviewed by NBT stated that they intended to utilize Shop Dee Mee Khuen. According to them, the scheme helps both the general population and retailers.

This is the first time the program allows expenditures spent from gasoline purchases at oil service stations to be deducted from income. Today, several individuals were asking for tax bills at gas stations. Those polled were enthusiastic about the inclusion of gasoline expenses to the list of things eligible for a tax deduction, stating that fuel is something they had to buy anyhow. To get a legitimate tax invoice from a petrol station, the fuel buyer must provide their name, residence, postcode, citizen identity number, and automobile license plate number to the attendant.

People can spend money under the Shop Dee Mee Khuen initiative until February 15.
